About Us
Papinoli is a small Canadian colouring book brand created by three sisters with a love for art and creativity. Every page is thoughtfully designed and hand-drawn from scratch, making each book truly original. Our biggest muses are our pets, Oobie the poodle and Dumpling the bunny, who help bring personality and charm to our illustrations. From the first sketch to the final page, everything is made with love, care, and creativity.
Meet our Mascots
Oobie is our 4-year-old standard poodle who joined our family in December 2021 and quickly became our very first pet. With his fluffy coat and big cuddly presence, we often call him “Bear” because he looks just like one. Oobie is a gentle giant with a sweet and friendly personality who loves meeting people and soaking up attention. He prefers humans over other dogs and is always happy to be around us, especially during our drawing sessions. His playful and lovable nature makes him one of the biggest inspirations behind our artwork.
Dumpling is our sweet and curious bunny who brings a gentle and cozy charm to our family. We adopted Dumpling on June 2024 after his previous owners sadly had to return him due to allergies, and we were lucky enough to welcome him into our home. From the moment he joined our family, his soft fur, tiny hops, and adorable personality made him impossible not to love.
During the process of creating our brand, our little dumpling sadly passed away on March 2026 due to health issues, but the love and joy he brought to our family will never be forgotten. From his tiny hops to the quiet moments he spent keeping us company, Dumpling was a truly special part of our lives. He continues to inspire our artwork and will always be part of the heart behind Papinoli.
The Story Behind the Name Papinoli
The name Papinoli comes from someone very special to us — our grandfather, who we lovingly called Papi Noli.
When we were growing up, Papi took care of us and played a huge role in raising us. Much of who we are today is because of the love, guidance, and values he gave us as children. He had a deep love for nature and animals and even owned a farm, where many of our early memories were made.
He passed away in April 2018, but his influence continues to shape our lives. Naming our brand Papinoli is our way of honouring him and keeping his memory close to everything we create.
